The Eco-Index is a program of the Rainforest Alliance. The site is built around a searchable database (in English, Spanish, and Portuguese) of neotropical rainforest preservation programs.
The site is maintained by Rainforest Alliance using Macromedia Contribute.

technical information
The site was designed using Web standards; pages were written using XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS. The original design also met accessibility requirements; pages were compliant with all Priority 2 W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
